BMW has revealed details of its new 5-Series estate.
The new 5 Series Touring is longer, wider and taller than the previous-generation model, measuring 4943mm long, 1868mm wide and 1498mm tall. Despite the larger dimensions, the new estate is up to 100kg lighter than the model it replaces.
Boot capacity is up to 570 litres (1,700 litres with the rear seats down), which is 10 litres more than before or 40 litres larger than the saloon. All estate models get an electric tailgate as standard.
The new car is also more economical and fully connected with advanced technology first introduced in its 7-series flagship.
