Vauxhall has unveiled the Grandland X, a stylish SUV/crossover for the booming compact market segment.
The new crossover will go on sale in the UK before the end of 2017. It will compete in a segment dominated by the Nissan Qashqai and Volkswagen Tiguan.
The Grandland X will offer an off-road look and high seating position typical of an SUV, however, it will not offer all-wheel drive.
The Grandland X will have many of the safety features found in the new Vauxhall Insignia, including automatic emergency, a parking assistant, a 360-degree camera function for maneuvering into small spaces, and the innovative Adaptive Forward Lighting LED headlamps.
Comfort and convenience will include AGR-certified premium ergonomic front seats, heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, power tailgate, and Vauxhall OnStar personal assistant with onboard 4G WiFi.
